Originally from the Boston area, Dr. Schlesinger was happy to come back up to New England (from New Jersey) for college, vet school and her internship. During her internship, she discovered how challenging and rewarding emergency medicine could be. She has particular interests in renal failure, trauma management and pain management techniques.

When she isn’t at work, Dr. Schlesinger enjoys hanging out with her husband, her puppy and her four cats. She also enjoys downhill skiing, rock climbing and kayaking and when she is indoors, sewing and knitting.
