together featuring Canine First Aid such a success.

would like to thank Dr. Heather Chalfant of VESCONE
Animal Hospital in Waltham, MA and the two additional
staff who assisted her with a hands-on demonstration.
Members were taught about canine vital signs, emergency
care and transport and were given the opportunity to practice
applying dressings and taking pulses, etc. Each member
received a starter first aid kit for their glove compartment
or fanny pack. Dr. Chalfant and associates were on hand
to answer questions and give individual instructions to
our teams.
