Our Internal Medicine Department is headed by Dr. Bari Spielman, our Veterinary Specialty Internist. Dr. Spielman has completed a residency in internal medicine and met the certification requirements of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
Dr. Spielman diagnoses and manages diseases of the gastrointestinal, urogenital, endocrine, and respiratory and hemotologic systems. She works with our cardiology and radiology departments to offer abdominal, thoracic and cardiac ultrasounds, CTs (nasal, thoracic, abdominal), as well as endoscopies, ultrasound guided biopsies, and aspirates.
