A Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist diagnoses diseases by obtaining and interpreting medical images.
The imaging modalities include radiology or x-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine imaging. A radiologist correlates medical image findings with other examinations and tests, recommends further examinations or treatments, and consults with the other specialists at VESCONE and your own veterinarian.
The Radiology Department at VESCONE works closely with our medical and surgical teams in all departments as well as NEVOG to provide diagnostic imaging, 5 days a week and for emergencies on the weekends and holidays.
